We are adventurers by nature driven by our passion, not only enjoying the area for outdoor sports but also making the most of what nature offers us in the Natural Park.
We have decided to open our first hide in the Sierra de Aracena Park to keen bird watchers dedicating it to the use of the photography of passeriform birds. It is a totally camouflaged hide made of wood and canvas allowing us to be totally unobserved while surrounded by the Chestnut, Cork and Holm oak woods. The hide is waterproofed with plastic sheeting which allows you to use your equipment without fear of it getting wet. Inside the hide there is ample room for 4 photographers with their equipment and the windows are orientated to get the maximum views possible while provide excellent concealment. There are various feeders and props such as tables, sticks, tree trunks and stones which can be used to the photographer’s taste.
The following birds can be seen from the hide:
– Hawfinch Coccothraustes coccothraustes
– Blue tit Cyanistes caeruleus
– Crested tit Lophophanes cristatus
– Great tit Parus major
– European robin Erithacus rubecula
– Blackcap Sylvia atricapilla
– Common chaffinch Fringilla coelebs
– Short-toed treecreeper Certhia brachydactyla
– Winter wren Troglodytes troglodytes
– Eurasian nuthatch Sitta europaea
– Goldfinch Carduelis carduelis
– Eurasian siskin Carduelis spinus
– Great spotted woodpecker Dendrocopos major
– Brambling Fringilla montifringilla
